How to do Nitainam Lekhan for Harinam Ruchi?
Slowly write the ten Devanagari strokes of “निताइ” (Nitainam) one by one in the air. Using big movements in the air, write each stroke with your index finger in large size in the sequence shown by the arrows above. After your finger writes each stroke, minutely visualize, with closed or open eyes, the shape of that stroke which was created in the air by the persistence of vision. Try to maintain a constant visual image of each airwritten stroke in your mind’s eye for as long as possible, one by one.
You can do it for at least 5-10 minutes daily by your right index finger before or after Harinam. During Harinam japa, you can do it with your left index finger. You can rest your elbow on any surface while doing it, if needed. You may also remember the transcendental meanings of each stroke.
